In addition to cofounding the Dublin Steiner School in 2017, Olivia is cofounder of the Irish Waldorf Education Association, a nationwide collaborative of Waldorf educators, schools and communities in Ireland.
Originally from New York, Olivia working in documentary and television editing for 10 years before her redirection into education. In 2013 she trained and worked as a forest school teacher with Brooklyn Forest, where she led Waldorf inspired forest school classes in Prospect Park, Brooklyn and Central Park, Manhattan.
After moving to Ireland in 2015 with her husband and daughter, Olivia joined Dublin Steiner School's Board of Directors in 2017, where she was instrumental in the foundation of the primary school with a focus on enrolments and administration. In 2019 Olivia stepped down from the Board of Directors to take the role of HR, Administration and Enrolments Manager, ultimately progressing to Head of School in 2023.
The growth of the school since 2017 has been a source of joy and fulfilment for Olivia, with the wonderful bonus of watching her daughter thrive in the school environment and grow up with the school's first graduated class of 2023.
