Asha Joanna O’Neill is a trained Primary School Teacher and Art Facilitator, with a rich experience in designing and delivering creative art sessions for children. Asha has been working with Dublin Steiner School since Autumn 2020, and is delighted to lead the Bridge Class.
She finished her Foundation Year in Anthroposophy in 2021 and is currently participating in the Steiner Early Childhood Education course for teachers.
Asha has facilitated Bright Sparks Art since 2011, with sessions for 1- 5 years olds in a multitude of communities and cultural settings. Additionally she provides regular art, craft and fabric sessions for primary school children. She has also helped to design and deliver a number of programmes for The Ark, and has assisted in delivering CPD courses for teachers, as well as having worked with Fatima Groups United Family Resource Centre in its creche and homework club.
She has completed ‘Working with Children Through Art’, and other courses with Art to Heart in Dublin and in The Burren, County Clare; and has attended 5 training courses for artists in various locations in Italy. In the recent past, she led the art after school programme in Canal Ways Educate Together, and their after school club for 30 children.
Asha loves spending time and doing activities with her husband and two children. She loves healthy cooking, gardening, walking, reading books and music.
