Arantza Blázquez

Lead Kindergarten Teacher

BA Pedagogy with Speciality in Social and Labor Education; MA in Attention to Social Diversity; MA in Human Resources Management; NFQ level 8 in Leadership and Transformational Change

Originally from Cáceres, Spain, Arantza has been living in Ireland since 2015. She is a pedagogue with more than 10 years experience in attention to diversity, inclusion and in supporting children with additional needs. Since December 2022 Arantza has been training in Autism Disorder Spectrum education and support. She considers herself as an educator that believes in children's potential and capacities that respect their individual rhythms to learn.

Before moving to Ireland, Arantza worked in a variety of educational communities in Spain, Italy, Nicaragua and Portugal. Having grown up in a rural part of Spain, Arantza has always valued her connection with natural environments, and considers herself an urban person moved by a natural soul.

She enjoys anything she can touch and feel with her hands such as modelling clay, baking, mud - anything where imagination and creativity can fuse  together. Arantza enjoys spending time recycling her own clothes to give them a new use. She loves theatre, reading, listening to different types of music and cooking, and believes these activities can be enjoyed individually or be brought to a group in order to promote participation and teamwork skills.
