Violinist Christopher Quaid is a Masters graduate of the Royal College of Music, London where he studied with Jan Repko. He previously graduated from the BA in Performance at the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin with First Class Honours.

A deeply committed orchestral musician, he has performed extensively with the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, RTÉ Concert Orchestra and Irish National Opera Orchestra under the batons of internationally renowned conductors.He has also performed with BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Wexford Festival Opera Orchestra, London Concert Orchestra, Camerata Ireland and alongside members of the Irish Chamber Orchestra. He has participated in masterclasses with Julian Rachlin, Ray Chen, Ilya Grubert and Mauricio Fuks. Christopher has more than fifteen years experience teaching violin, piano and theory and harmony to various age-groups. He has held positions at various London specialist and private schools and maintained a private studio of twelve talented students.
